🏅 Coaching Levels at KAARL
🔰 1. Beginners Program | Timings: 4:00-5:30 PM (or) 5:00-6:30 PM
Goal: Build a strong foundation in badminton through basic techniques and court movement. The key focus areas are:
- Grip Mastery:
- Forehand Grip: Used for drives, smashes, and clears
- Backhand Grip: Critical for returning defensive shots
- Proper grip technique ensures better control, power, and reduces injury risks.
- Footwork Fundamentals:
- Court coverage using side steps, lunges, and shuffle drills
- Emphasis on long steps and quick transitions
- Basic Strokes:
- Serves: Forehand & Backhand
- Clear: High and deep shots
- Drop Shot: Gentle shots falling near the net
- Smash: Powerful downward shots
- Drive: Fast horizontal shots

🚀 2. Advanced Program | Timings: 4:00-6:30 PM
Goal: Enhance technique, court intelligence, and introduce the game strategy. The key focus areas are:

- 🦶 Footwork & Movement:
- Master the six-corner footwork to reach any court position efficiently
- Improve speed and recovery to and from center court
- Quick directional changes and transition drills
- 🏸 Technique:
- Refine backhand strokes for strength and consistency
- Advance net play skills – attacking net shots and intercepting
- Develop strategic smashes with focus on placement over power
- Learn varied shot-making: drops, drives, clears, flicks
- 🧠 Strategy & Game Sense:
- Read opponents and respond to court patterns
- Use deception and variation to control rallies
- Practice doubles coordination, rotation, and formations
- 💪 Physical Conditioning:
- Strengthen wrists and core for better control and stability
- Increase flexibility to reduce injuries
- Focus on proper warm-up and cool-down techniques
- 💡 Other Development Tools:
- Analyze professional games and mirror-practice technique
- Visualization drills to mentally simulate game scenarios
- Seek regular coach/player feedback to identify gaps

🎯 3. Professional Program | Timings: 5:30-7:00 AM | 10:00 AM-12:30 PM | 6:00-8:00 PM
Goal: Prepare kids for competitive play at district, state, and national levels with elite-level training and mentoring.
